C5 Torque Tube Coupler
Has anyone replaced the torque tube with an open drive system that connects to the stock Opel differential? I did a search and found where it has been done using Toyota and BMW diffs, but could find no information on using& . brace, Torque Tube couplers and hardened output shafts as well as a clutch as you said are pretty much a cost that should be added in as well. Now nothing old from the crank case to the tail pipes, and yet the noise ..... Industrial Love Joy coupler onto front of rear engine balancer... C5inSB is offline& ... i would think that i might really want to examine the antilock tone wheels see&

Rebuilt Torque tube with new input shaft, poly coupler up front and LG solid billet coupler in rear ($500) B&M short& .. The Porsche drive shafts are a different spline than the regular 01E but they use a coupling between the driveshaft and transmission so you could have one made up with the correct splines on either end.Of course the comments are in that OTHER forum so its all relative. The internals, plastic coupler, lever, and shift knob are all the same visually. Using a driveshaft that would spin at . TORQUE RATED AROUND 2,000& . It will need to be longer than the& . Hib.Porsche torque tubes (steel shaft, steel housing) and C5 corvette torque tubes, (steel shaft, aluminum housing) are relatively easy to cut apart and shorten/lengthen, and don`t break the bank....
